Fireworks demonstration approved

If you love fireworks, North Central Industries, a fireworks importer, has gotten permission from the city to do a fireworks demonstration on May 14th for customers and guests. They’ll be set off in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in a former industrial building from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Man sentenced in 2011 murder of Tonia Ingram

The last defendant in a murder case from four years ago has been sentenced. Antowyn Warren pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal last Februrary and received a four year sentence. He helped Terry Rutledge move the victim’s body after Rutledge strangled Tonia Ingram in Muncie in December 2011.
