The Ball State University Board of Trustees has reappointed Dave Heeter to the Muncie Community School Board. Muncie schools switched from an elected school board to a seven-member appointed school board when Ball State was put in charge of the district in 2018. The Star Press reports Heeter’s term on the school board was set to expire in June. The trustees overwhelmingly reappointed him with a unanimous vote.
