Police seek suspected rapist

A Richmond man is wanted for the rape of a woman over two days in April. Police are looking for 36-year-old Michael Lawrence Abbott. The victim says Abbott is a former boyfriend who held her against her will and assaulted her at a Richmond home of a friend.

Bobcat hunting may be allowed

The state is considering taking the Bobcat off the list of protected species and allow hunters to thin out the growing population. The Department of Natural Resources says the proposed change would affect the southwestern part of Indiana, though no specifics are detailed yet. The department is taking feedback until Sunday.
