The suspect has been arrested in the shooting of a 17-year-old girl. William Wills is facing attempted murder and other charges in the incident on Dewey Street on March 6th. He and another man already in custody, KJ McCarter, are both in jail. The shooting happened during an alleged drug deal.

Sex offender arrested after she failed to register

Police arrested a sex offender after she failed to report. 40-year-old Stephanie Spurgeon told the sheriff’s department she was homeless, which requires her to register weekly. After failing to do so, she was picked up and now faces 30 months in prison. She’s in Muncie City Jail under a $5,000 bond.
