Effective June 1, 2021, the unified St. Michael Catholic School will open at 2301 West Gilbert Street, the location of the current St. Mary School/Pope John Paul II School. St Michael Catholic school will serve students from Pre-K through 8th grade. The Muncie Journal reports Missionary Pastor Rev. Eric Underwood “believes the decision to have a unified Catholic school enables it to provide the highest quality Catholic education for all children.”
