Anderson power outage fixed

A power outage in Anderson was caused by a faulty insulator and affected about 800 customers today. The electric line short circuited and was out for a couple of hours before crews got it fixed this morning just before noon.

Pair in Winchester arrested on drug charges

A Winchester couple is facing drug charges after a month-long police investigation. Kala Hibbard and Zachary Fellers are suspected of running a marijuana-grow operation, and possessing heroin and cocaine. They’re in Randolph County jail. Hibbard already has a drug possession case set for August in Superior Court.
