The head of Anderson University has been passed over as the next director of the FBI. President Donald Trump has nominated a former Justice Department official, Charles Wray, for the job. John Pistole, the current AU president and former head of the Transportation Safety Administration, was also in the running.

Anderson Lawmakers Consider Budget Consultant

Anderson City Council considers whether to hire a consultant to take a look at the 2018 spending plan. Council meets in special session at 6pm. Within that budget is $15,000 for council members to hire an attorney to represent them but it could be used for a budget consultant, too.
