Five children living in squalor were removed from a Muncie home and their mother is being charged with neglect. The home on S. Franklin St. was in horrible condition, according to Muncie police. Fire at Fisher Meats

Fisher Meats in Portland suffered extensive damage on Saturday night. The late night fire at 300 W. Walnut Street caused structural damage to one part of the facility but did not damage the front of the store or a house nearby. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
