Anderson Flushing All Fire Hydrants

The City of Anderson is flushing hydrants through March 18th. Flushing is necessary to clean the distribution system clean and to ensure all fire hydrants are operating correctly. Residents of the city may see short periods of low water pressure and discoloration while the flushing is taking place.

Road Work To Affect Hospital Traffic

One week from today a road closing will affect hospital traffic. On Monday, March 14, the drive that leads from 20th Street to the front of the Henry County Hospital in New Castle be closed due to construction. Chuck Butler – Director of Safety and Security says that closing will last until December.

A man who’s accused of killing his puppy after it wet the owners bed had his trial rescheduled for May. 27-year-old Jackie Rodgers faces 30 months in prison if convicted.
