BSU Settles ‘Excessive Force’ Lawsuit

Ball State has settled a lawsuit claiming use of excessive force. A local bar patron was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intox three years ago outside a Dill Street bar. The University settled the case for $10,000 saying they believed they would prevail but the costs to go to federal court are significant.
