Ingalls’ new town marshal is ready to get to work. Newly-appointed marshal Chris Thompson says he plans to expand the force and implement community-oriented policing. Thompson was named interim chief after the resignation of Rick Martin in the wake of 14 alleged breaches of policy. He was hit with a five-day suspension and quit shortly thereafter.
