Man Sues Police, Claims Taser Blinded Him

A lawsuit has been filed against the Muncie Police Department by a man who claims he was blinded in one eye by an officer’s taser. The suit alleges police used excessive force against Cody Rose a year ago. Rose was arrested when police broke up a fight on East 25th Street.

A published report says a Muncie Man accused of leading a police officers on a vehicle chase last month was arrested Wednesday. The Indiana Star Press Reports 35 year old Joseph Hartman is facing charges that include reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
