Continental Local Super to leave

The superintendent of Continental Local Schools has resigned his job to take another position at Elida Local Schools. Joel Mengerink, who also worked as high school principal, gave his resignation Tuesday night at the Continental Local Board of Education meeting. His resignation is effective July 31.

Ball State student center evacuated

Ball State put the college on partial lockdown this afternoon after a suspicious package was delivered to the parking services office. Students are being told to stay away from the Student Union while it’s investigated. The Delaware County Bomb Squad was called in to assist.
