A judge has sentenced Justin Culverhouse to prison after his conviction for attacking his ex-girlfriend with a meat cleaver. The Muncie man pleaded guilty to aggravated battery and will spend 9 years in prison. The victim said Culverhouse had struck her head “multiple times” and twice choked her almost to the point of unconsciousness.
