Authorities say former “Happy Days” star Erin Moran likely died from cancer at her southern Indiana home. An autopsy revealed the 56-year-old actress had stage-four cancer. Moran died Saturday in the rural community of New Salisbury, about 20 miles northwest of Louisville, Kentucky.
The murder trial of an Anderson man was set to begin today, but it has been delayed over extracting text messages from cellphones. 25-year-old Mark Emerson allegedly stabbed Cody J. Gay to death after finding the man in bed with his estranged wife. Emerson then kidnapped her and their three small children.
