CATS Terminal To Open In 2018

A new downtown bus terminal for the City of Anderson Transit System won’t be ready for at least two more years. The Herald Bulletin reports that construction on the $6 million facility won’t begin until next September and the bus terminal will likely open in November 2018.

DelCo Gets New Deputies

Sheriff Ray Dudley swore in two new Deputies Monday evening at the Delaware County Justice Center. Matthew Kubiak and Rodney Dabney will begin their training this month and will start working with field training officers by the end of the year.

NB I-69 Backups Sunday

All lanes of northbound I-69 were closed near Fishers due to a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon. INDOT says drivers were hampered by long delays as they traveled northbound on I-69 near mile marker 209. The incident caused traffic back-ups all the way to State Road 37. No injuries were reported.

Elwood Man Declared Dead At Scene

An Elwood man is dead after a crash in northeastern Hamilton County.
