Ex-Roommate Accused Of Slashing Woman

A Muncie woman was attacked by her former roommate, suffering cuts to her face, neck and arms. Police say the woman with the knife was 65-year-old Betty Brooks, who lived with the woman for an extended period but whose relationship had ended. Brooks could face 16 years in prison.

A new music competition reality show will be filmed in Muncie and will air this fall. The show will be filmed at Ball State with 15 contestants from around the country. A live audience is needed for the March 12th competition. Tickets are available Friday at the Emens Auditorium box office.
