Found Hiding In A Crawlspace

They found him hiding in a crawlspace.  22-year-old Robert L. Miller of Elwood was wanted for parole violations on multiple felony weapons violations. He was spotted by police who tracked him to a home. It was there they found him hiding in the crawlspace. Under threat of teargas, Miller came out and surrendered.

Shocking Stats Out Of Richmond

Some shocking statistics at one hospital: Officials at Reid Health in Richmond say nearly a third of new mothers who gave birth at the hospital tested positive for drugs. Now the hospital performs drug tests on every expectant mother, so they can identify any problems before a birth.

The Fed Now Considers You A “Hoosier”

Congratulations, you’re now officially a “Hoosier”. The federal government will now recognize Indiana natives as “Hoosiers”.  Until now the feds referred to you as “Indianan.” U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly, U.S. Senator Todd Young and former Senator Dan Coats requested the change last year.

MLK BMV Holiday Closings

Peter L. Lacy, Commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, has announced that all BMV license branches will be closed Saturday through Monday in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. All branches resume their regularly scheduled business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
