Muncie animal control officials on Monday seized, dogs, snakes and other animals — some of them already dead — from a house that was slated for demolition. The Star Press reports two dogs and a dozen snakes — all still alive — and multiple rats and guinea pigs, many of which were dead, were removed from the house at 1312 S. Jefferson St. Shelter officials were unable to make contact with whoever was living in the house at the time.
