Anderson Commission OK’s Redevelopment Project

The Anderson Redevelopment Commission voted unanimously Tuesday to approve $770,000 in funding to renovate the Lincolnshire Apartments. The Herald Bulletin reports some residents had voiced concerns about a possible increase in crime and a decrease in parking as a result of the 21 one bedroom and seven studio apartments in the plans. The project at 330 W. 12th Street is expected to cost $2.4 million.
