Chesterfield Legion Members Locked Out

Locked Out. Members of the Chesterfield American Legion have been locked out after the former commander allegedly abandoned the post and stopped paying its bills. He and his wife were arrested August 25 on suspicion of theft from the Legion. Since then, Indiana Legion 5th District has the keys. Post 408 members say they plan to change the locks and hold an official Legion meeting on October 1.
