Medical Helicopter Crash

A LifeLine Helicopter with 3 on board reportedly crashed March 6th, during a hover taxi to accelerate for takeoff. It happened at the Purdue University Airport. An article published by Aviation Safety Network quoted the National Transportation Safety Board’s determination of failure of maintenance personnel to properly install a piece on the tail rotor. The report said nobody on board was injured, but it did result in substantial damage to the aircraft.
