A New Castle man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stabbed a city police officer in the arm. According to the Star Press, 36 year old Dustin B. Sidwell was preliminarily charged with attempted murder and criminal recklessness for an incident that unfolded Wednesday morning after police got a report of a man trying to get into a home at the Vine Street Apartment Complex.
