35 year old Billy Joe Bailey was arrested Tuesday by Elwood police on charges of battery against a public safety official, attempted robbery, two counts of criminal confinement, two counts of intimidation with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness for firing into a house. When arrested, officers recovered ahandgun and a sock containing methamphetamine on the suspect.
