A Muncie man allegedly spat blood in a police officer’s eyes last week. It happened on 4300 block of North Janney Avenue when police located Caleb Beckwood in the backyard of his residence for a domestic disturbance call. Beckwood has been preliminarily been charged with battery of a law enforcement officer, which is a Level 5 Felony. He also faces misdemeanor charges for criminal mischief and battery
