A Muncie man accused of repeatedly battering a female acquaintance continued to be held in the Delaware County jail on Monday under a $15,000 cash bond. The Star Press reports 47 year old James Jamal Mitchell was arrested Thursday on preliminary counts of intimidation with a deadly weapon, strangulation and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury for an incident involving a 49 year old woman.
