A Muncie mother was arrested this week on a neglect charge, four days after her husband was accused of battering her infant son. The Star Press reports 28 year old Savanna Maryeilse Walsh is charged with neglect of a dependent and failure to report child abuse. Walsh had told police when she saw her husband spanking her 6 month old son for not eating, she went outside to smoke.
