17 year old Jaylin Barnes of Anderson faces charges including dangerous possession of a firearm and resisting law enforcement. Barnes was stopped on the 1800 block of Sheridan Street while driving. Barnes exited the vehicle and police found a handgun under the driver’s seat and traces of marijuana. While officers were attempting to detain Barnes, he struggled and fled on foot and was tased and taken into custody as he jumped over a fence.
