A home in Anderson was a total loss this week after a fire. It happened early Tuesday on the 2300 block of Walnut Street. When crews got there, there was heavy smoke, and power lines were down. They remained on the scene for two hours, knocking back the flames. The Star Press reports a resident was reportedly inside the home, but firefighters found no one there.
