2024 Trial Date Set In Officer Shooting Death Case

The trial of Carl Roy Webb Boards II in the shooting death of Elwood Police Officer Noah Shahnavaz will likely take place in 2024. The Herald Bulletin reports the 42 year old Boards of Anderson, had a hearing Friday in which the judge proposed the trial to start in August next year with proceedings expected to last about a month.
