Local Robotics Team Headed To World Championships

The Robotics team at Southside Middle School is going big time. Teacher Brian DeRome and five students are headed to the VEX Robotics World Championships and the squad is headed to Dallas this weekend to compete. MuncieJournal.com reports about 900 teams have qualified in seven different divisions. The competition requires each team to build a robot that performs specific tasks in order to score points.
