In a 48 page pre-sentence memo, federal prosecutors say Dennis Tyler should be sentenced to prison for his role in government corruption during the time he served as Muncie’s mayor. The Star Press reports Tyler is scheduled to plead guilty next week to charges he accepted a $5,000 bribe from a local contractor in 2015. At that same hearing, November 10th, he’s scheduled to be sentenced.
