Hazard Pay Coming For Some Lapel Employees

Full-time employees of Lapel will receive COVID-19-related hazardous pay following action by the town council. The Herald Bulletin reports Town Council Thursday voted to provide each of the full-time members of the police department a hazard pay bonus of $5,000. The council voted to provide $2,000 in hazard pay to the eight full-time employees who work in the town hall and for the utility department.
