Report: Retired Muncie Cop To Plead Guilty In City Corruption Probe

Retired Muncie Police officer Jess Neal will reportedly strike a plea deal with prosecutors connected to a federal probe of corruption in Muncie city government. The Star Press reports as part of the dealy, Neal agrees to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Five other counts pending against Neal would be dismissed. Neal could be ordered to pay up to $178,149 in restitution.
