A Muncie father faces a charge of neglect of a dependent after a fire at his home. 37 year old Javin Reeder Jr. and his 9 year old daughter were able to escape the flames at his home on the 200 block of West Ninth Street late Tuesday night. Police say Reeder told them the fire started when he -quote- put a cigarette in the corner.
