Contract Awarded To Demolish Former Naval Reserve Center In Anderson

In Anderson, the city has awarded a contract to demolish the former Naval Reserve Center building. According to the Herald Bulletin, the Anderson Board of Public Works on Tuesday awarded a contract to Shroyer Brothers Inc. to demolish the building at a cost of $58,250. Also, the city is paying $30,000 to have asbestos removed from the building, which is expected to be done next week.
