It could be up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for former Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler after striking a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to a felony count of theft, reports the Star Press. The 78 year old Tyler was indicted in late 2019, accused of accepting a $5,000 bribe to steer excavation work to a local contractor.
