Anderson Takes Bids On Tearing Down Old Naval Reserve Building

The City of Anderson has received a wide range of bids to tear down the old Naval Reserve Center on Oak Street. Estimates it’s received range from $58,000 to $174,000. The city’s projected estimate to demolish the building was between $60,000 and $65,000. There’s also asbestos work to be done prior to demolition.
