Madison County Schools’ Share Of American Rescue Plan Funds

Schools serving Madison County area communities will share in $1.8 billion from the Indiana Department of Education under the federal American Rescue Plan. The Herald Bulletin reports the education money is intended to help districts close the learning gap caused when students were unable to attend in-person classes. Anderson is getting in excess of $26 million, Frankton-Lapel, $2.1 million and Daleville is receiving $660,000.
