Extensive water damage to a four-story apartment building near the Ball State University campus Monday after a fire there. The Star Press reports the call came in at about 11:15pm from the District at 1200 W. Bethel Ave. Fire officials say a blaze on an exterior stairwell on the east side of the building made its way from the ground floor to the fourth floor. No injuries reported, no word on a cause.
