Friday is the kick off for Mayor Ridenour’s project- 1000 trees in 1000 days. The first tree was planted at the Vietnam War Memorial in Heekin Park. Also, the Cooley Project is progressing. The mayor purchased the added playground equipment targeting ages 2-5 years with EDIT funds. Installation is currently being scheduled.
