Former Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler has explained to a judge that his use of a credit card last week was to purchase prescribed medication. Use of a credit card is one of the restrictions placed on him in connection with Tyler being indicted in November of 2019 for allegedly accepting a $5,000 bribe from a city contractor. The Star Press reports Tyler’s attorney advised him the purchase could be made.
