Delaware County Commissioners elected James King president of the commissioners and Sherry Riggin being elected vice president. The Star Press reported King originally motioned that Riggin be nominated as president, a motion which Riggin declined, asking that they keep to a schedule the three had agreed upon. She instead nominated King.
