Council Votes To Fund Three In-Limbo County Highway Department Positions

The Delaware County Council opted to keep on three jobs at the Delaware County Highway Department that were in limbo after a budgeting issue at the end of 2020. The Star Press reports council met in a special meeting last month to discuss three positions that had been defunded during budgeting season and were out of money before the end of the year. Two truck drivers and an office staff person were affected by the problem.
