Three houses in Anderson were heavily damaged by fire late Monday night. The residences in question are at 21st and Main streets. Additional crews were called in to battle the blaze and were on the scene until 4am. Two of those houses were vacant and two occupants in the third house got out uninjured. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
