Two truck drivers and an office staff person are waiting to see if they have jobs after the New Year with the Delaware County Highway Department. The Star Press reports the Delaware County Council met Wednesday afternoon in a special meeting to discuss the positions that had been defunded during budgeting season and were out of money as of Thursday.
