Realizing that past events have drawn hundreds, the Muncie Salvation Army Advisory Board has canceled the organization’s annual Red Kettle Kick-Off event, which had been scheduled for Nov. 14 at Muncie Mall. The goal this year is $175,000, a year after the campaign reached and surpassed its $173,000 benchmark.
