Police are trying to figure out the identity of a man fatally injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Muncie’s east side Monday night. The Star Press reports the man was hit by a pickup truck on East Jackson Street, near the Muncie Bypass, shortly after 7 p.m. He was taken by ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, then transferred to another hospital where he died.
