Non working fire hydrants made it a tough morning for Muncie firefighters as they tried to extinguish a blaze at Automitive West Inc. at 3816 W. Kilgore Drive. Officials say they came across four hydrants in that vicinity that weren’t working Friday morning and eventually, tankers from other departments had to come to the scene to help out. No word on what started the blaze.
