A man authorities say shot and killed a Muncie woman more than a decade ago wants a new trial. Attornies for Jess David Woods say part of the reason for the request is that their client, dur to hearing problems, couldn’t hear testimony of any witnesses at his original trial. Police say Anthony French hired Woods to kill his estranged wife, 29 year old Teresa French in May of 1993. Woods was found guilty in 2009.
