During a Zoom meeting, Muncie City Council approved spending nearly $100,000 for the Muncie Police Department for new vehicles. The Star Press reports Mayor Dan Ridenour said during the previous city council meeting that the purchases are necessary and were approved in 2019, but the previous administration never completed the purchases.
