BSU Respondes To Professor’s Actions After Student Refuses To Change Seats

Ball State University President Geoffrey S. Mearns says a marketing professor committed a “gross error” and had an “unwarranted overreaction” when a student declined to move seats in a classroom. The Star Press reports a faculty member called police after the student refused to change seats. Two officers did respond but the professor has issued an apology for how he handled the incident.
